British Innovation Powers Events and Installations. ISE, Fira Barcelona, 10-13 May: With the AV industry now widely recognised as a technology leader, eight UK companies are collaborating on the GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland Pavilion at Integrated Systems Europe (10 – 13 May, Fira Barcelona). The pavilion is organised by Tradefair, and is located in hall 5.
The group includes both start-ups and established businesses, all intent on showing their unique and innovative technology on the wider stage. ISE is the leading event in AV, events and systems integration, with more than 800 exhibitors in 2022 and an attendance measured in tens of thousands.
The eight businesses attending as part of the UK group cover a broad range of products. Austin Hughes specialises in the underlying infrastructure of systems, and will be showing its new MiniBoot for remotely rebooting computers. BirdDog develops world-leading video over IP products, including embedded NDI hardware, to simplify the transition from SDI to IP connectivity.
Mark Roberts Motion Control is regarded as a world leader in motion control camera rigs for precisely repeatable moves, an increasingly important requirement in volumetric production. For almost 20 years RJS Electronics has been providing high quality electro-mechanical components designed for the most demanding applications. In the AV space, Tripleplay’s audience engagement technology is ideally suited for enterprise video and digital signage, as well as space booking and management.
Particularly strong in the audio field, TSL Products has a well-established reputation for innovative control and monitoring systems for IT-based workflows. And VITEC develops IPTV, digital signage and video streaming technologies.
Also part of the group is NewTek, focusing on its widely-adopted NDI video over IP standard.
“ISE 2022 is exciting and challenging,” said Mark Birchall, Managing Director of Tradefair. “The pandemic interrupted ISE’s own development plans, which means that we have had to wait until now for the event’s move to Barcelona. Everyone involved is excited by the prospect of bringing the industry back together, and we help UK exhibitors by managing all the issues around the new venue. That gives them the time to focus on bringing their best products and services, and building and renewing customers and contacts.
About Tradefair
Tradefair has been organising the GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland Pavilions on behalf of techUK, the trade association for the UK technology industry and in partnership with the Department for International Trade, (DIT) since 1989. Working directly with UK based businesses to ensure their success in international markets through those events which have proven to be the most successful in generating quality international business for the UK tech sector.
Integrated Systems Europe, often referred to as ISE, is the largest AV systems integration show in the world. The annual four-day event, which takes place every February, is organised and run by Integrated Systems Events.
Since the first Integrated Systems Europe in 2004, the event has grown year on year. In 2020, they hosted over 1,300 exhibitors (with countless new product launches) and our attendees made over 116,000 visits to the show.
The decision to permanently relocate the ISE exhibition comes after 18 months of research into the viability of remaining at the RAI Amsterdam. With annual growth in ISE exhibitors and attendees approaching 10%, it was concluded that ISE was outgrowing its popular Amsterdam location.
